Moon Garden

Acouple of weeks ago I was with some family members at a Louisville restaurant to celebrate my birthday.  We arrived early for dinner so it was quiet where we were seated; this enabled me to take in the ambience, which really "spoke" to me.  I loved it...dark green, black and white flooring, soft lighting, low key slow vocal music, non-matching dinnerware, some antiques and some art deco decor.  I faced a bar which was lined with partially filled glass bottles of liquors and vases of tall white flowers.  It was beautiful (and I don't drink, let alone think bottles of liquor are beautiful).  The ambience completely took me in. I just sat there enjoying the moment and soaking in the mood.  Everything was just right.

When we finished I was given this flower to take home.  I was told to put it in about an inch of water and it would continue to bloom.  I did so.  At that time the white flowers were few and they surrounded the bottom of a green cone, the tip of which is now barely visible.  It is quite lovely in the
glass vase, reminiscent of the restaurant.

Pondering the  flower  reminds me of the experience I had and  feeds my soul.
